What we do.

We provide a wide range of civil and structural engineering services from our offices in Stornoway.

Malcolm Maciver, CEng MICE has over 30 years post-graduate experience. In accordance with the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004, we are an Approved Body for Certification of Design (Building Structures) and Malcolm Maciver is an Approved Certifier of Design (Building Structures).

Using the latest survey and software packages we can carry out:-

• Civil and structural design in steel, timber and masonry.
  Project Management.
  Design of high technology buildings.
  Slipway design and marine works.
  Civil and structural design of housing schemes.
  Structural design of new dwellings and extensions.
  Road alignment design.
  Bridge design and assessment.
  Design of foul sewer treatment works.
  Design of foul and storm water pipe networks.
  Fulfilling the role of CDM co-ordinator under the CDM regulations.
  Contract administration.
  Create drawings in AutoCAD format.
  Provide Resident Engineering services.
  Generate digitised topographical contoured surveys to a high degree of accuracy.
