Dun Eisdean Footbridge (£60K)

As part of the Morrison clan gathering celebrations in 2003 a footbridge was constructed across to the historically significant island of Dun Eisdean, which lies off the West Coast of Ness.  Maciver Consultancy Services Ltd provided design and supervision services for the project.  The bridge was a pre-fabricated truss structure consisting of welded hollow steel sections.  The bridge was transported to site and lifted into place to allow access to the island in time for the Morrison Clan gathering in July 2003.
