Lews Castle Grounds Topographical Survey

To enable a detailed feasibility study to be carried out on maintaining and upgrading the area around the Lews Castle, Maciver Consultancy Services Ltd was commissioned to survey a large area of existing woodland.  The survey extended from Porter’s Lodge in a South Westerly direction to Cuddy Point,  encompassing areas around the Woodland’s Centre, Shoe Burn Glen, the Castle Gardens and Lady Matheson’s Monument.
